Korean American Student Association
The Full Story
Korean American Student Association
In 1984, a small group of Korean students founded the Korean American Student Association; it was the first Asian organization on campus. The Korean American Student Association strives to promote awareness and appreciation of Korean culture. Students from a variety of backgrounds such as second generation Korean-Americans, international students, and those simply interested in Korean culture come together as members of KASA.

Mission
Our mission, per the W&M KASA constitution is to facilitate the learning of Korea and Korean culture, promote relations between KASA and the Korean student organizations of other colleges and universities, improve the educational and social environment of William and Mary and surrounding Williamsburg community, and to build a sense of community among Korean students, Korean American students, and students interested in Korea
Vision
KASA aims to create a welcoming environment for anyone interested in learning more about Korea and Korean culture, as well as provide a space for Korean Americans to interact and socialize. We hope to continue growing our membership to reach more individuals who are as enthusiastic about our heritage and culture as we are.
